We have a new file organization structure and I am so happy about it.
Site clearing June 25, 2009
While I was working on the knotweed our contractor, DIGS, was taking
care of the big stuff. We have to eliminate all of the invasive species
(which is the bulk of vegetation on the site) to qualify for LEED points.
Hopefully the next step is clearing the mosquitoes off of the site.

Invasive patrol
I decimated Japanese knotweed this morning. I used cut shrub & vine killer which was so nasty that afterwards I couldn’t even wash my clothes in my own washing machine because we have a septic tank and it could get into the groundwater. After reading the directions completely I don’t think I’ll ever be able to make myself buy it again. Once I’m out I think I’ll use roundup for 2-3 treatments instead.

Sitework June 16, 2009
Our contractor, DIGS INC, will start clearing and excavating this week. I am busy figuring out the erosion control logistics. Look for pictures Thursday or Friday.
